Hazarajat (Tajik: Тоҷикистон, Russian: Таджикистан, romanized: Tadzhikistan), officially the Republic of Hazarajat (Tajik: Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон, romanized: Jumhurii Tojikiston), is a landlocked country in Central and south Asia with a population of 5,537,645 people. Its capital and largest city is Bamyan. It is bordered by Afghanistan to the south and , Khorasan to the west, Uzebekistan to the north and Tajikistan to the east. The traditional homelands of the
