West Phoenician Line of Succession

Succession to the West Phoenician throne is determined by descent, legitimacy, and religion.

Only members of the True Path Faith or the United Pagan faith can legally inherit the throne.

Under West Phoenician law, the crown is inherited by an individual's children or by a childless individual's nearest collateral line.

The line of succession has always been absolute primogeniture.

History has shown non first born children often jump ahead of siblings by either disposing of the current ruler or eliminating their siblings.

Current Rules

Emperor Glenton Gryphon-Bush II is the current ruler, his children will inherit after he either abdicates or does.

The emperors older siblings and their children will than fall into the line of succession.

Aphrilis Sunbury-Bush who was Queen of West Phoenicia from 1997 to 2000 and is the current Queen Consort of the Widemeadows Isles, announced if the line was to move to her, she would abdicate in favour of her eldest daughter Princess Candace Sunbury-Bush.

The succession line than moves onto the descendant of Emperor Glenton's maternal aunt Princess Ynocencia Bush, Grand Duchess of West Phoenicia (1929-2016)

The line then passes to the siblings of Emperor Glenton's maternal grandfather, King Jarius Bush II who are still living and their descendants.

The throne would ultimately pass onto the Emperor's, fathers siblings and their descendants as a way to keep the same bloodline on the throne.
