The Left Bloc (Zitassan: Blocco di Sinistra) is a political party in Zitasso, and one of the nations largest parties. The party was founded in 2000, following the collapse of the Zitassan Freedom Party in 1997 due to scandal. In 2000 Oliviero De Luca, the chairman of the New Liberal Party negotiated a merger with several other leftist parties to form the Left Bloc.
