The Byeansk Førren Serve is a branch of the armed forces of Byennordvest which specialises in the maintenance of Byeansk trade through shipping, The Byeansk exploration of the Antarctic and the wider world, the transport of people over Byennordvest’s waterways and the safety of Byeansk citizens in treacherous environments including the Grøff mountains and in Byennordvest’s fjords or other waters. The Førren serve was originally founded in 1643 as the name of the organisation suggests as a ferry service to transport the Byeansk people over Byennordvest’s many fjords. This was the main focus of the Førren serve until the mid to late 1700’s at which time they began to be commissioned to map southerly trade routes into the Antarctic circle and ensure safe passage for trade vessels through the often treacherous region of the sea. It was not until the formation of the Byeansk republic in the late 1700’s that the Førren Serve became a renowned service of Antarctic explorers and scientists who in. 1801 claimed the southerly Josef and Henter I islands for Byennordvest. In the late 1820’s the Førren serve was commissioned to explore the Antarctic further and the organisation took on several explorations and discovered a vast amount of scientific knowledge as well as several new species and their patterns. The Førren Serve was also the first organisation to map the Antarctic and explore its coast. It was not until the fall of the Byeansk Republic and reinstallation of the monarchy that the Førren Serve received the great majority of its funding. The money injected into the Service in the 1890’s was used to build three grand houses for the service in Byennorde, Langtlegangett and Longbyren. These are now Byeansk National Heritage Sites as well as continuing to be the homes of the Førren Serve. Part of this new funding was also a commission to the royal family that the Førren Serve would reach the South Pole and claim it in their name. The Service reached the South Pole in 1904 after two attempts although it was decided that Byennordvest would not claim the Pole. In the modern day the Førren Serve still plays an integral role in the Byeansk military and in its day to day service to the people of Byennordvest. The service still takes commission to patrol the Antarctic and patrol trade in the region.
