The Emperor Connor-class battleship was a conceptual design proposed in 2010, which had it ever seen production, would have been the largest ship ever to see service with the Imperial Castarcian Navy and likely would have possessed some of the largest naval guns ever created, which would have come courtesy of Imperial Ordnance.
Armament
The Emperor Connor's main armament were to be fifteen 32.0 inch guns which would have been used primarily for shore bombardment, though they would likely have been able to wreck an enemy vessel with a 32in shell. The twenty-four 18.1 inch guns also had the same primary purpose and all naval guns aboard the ship would have been capable of firing a wide variety of shells, with choice of armour piercing shells for armoured targets or a high explosive shell for attacking lightly armoured targets, which coming from a 32 in gun would likely have been an extremely potent shell. The ship would also have carried nuclear shells in case it ever needed to utterly obliterate a target. Anti-ship combat would more than likely have seen use of the Righteous Fury anti ship missiles, which would have had a far extended range over that of guns.
Defensive Armament
The Emperor Connor would have used 75 Close-in weapon systems to protect itself from enemy ships and aircraft that get within a threatening distance towards the ship, in order to preserve the combat capability and structural soundness of the ship. Countermeasures against enemy missiles were highly prioritised given the large size of the ship and the natural likelihood of the Emperor Connor being a priority target for any potential hostile.
