The President of Costa Madora (Madorian: Presidente de Costa Madora) is the head of state of Costa Madora and honorary commander-in-chief of the Madorian Army.
Under Article VII of the Madorian Constitution, the President exercises most executive power, holding the office for maximum two terms of 4 years, renewable once. They are directly elected by Madorian citizens through the Electoral Board which is responsible for organizing the elections.
Elisabeth Strandberg is the 27th and current President of Costa Madora, assuming the office on June 18, 2018.

Both the President and Vice President begin their terms of office on Monday afternoon after the elections. However, before executing the powers of the office, President-elect is required to recite the presidential Oath of Office, found in Article VIII of the Constitution:
"I, (name and surname), solemnly swear as the new President of Costa Madora, to defend the sovereignty and independence of Costa Madora, to protect the people, their rights and freedoms, and uphold the Constitution of the Costa Madora."

Presidents have traditionally placed one hand upon a copy of the Constitution while taking the oath, and have added "So help me God" to the end of the oath. Although, the oath may be administered by any person authorized by law to administer oaths, presidents are traditionally sworn in by the Chief Justice of Costa Madora.
