The president of Lissatha is the head of state and head of government of Lissatha. The president directs the executive branch of the federal government and is the commander-in-chief of the Lissathan Armed Forces.

The president plays a leading role in both foreign and domestic policy, being Lissatha's main representative on the international stage and responsibility for the execution and enforcement of federal law and the responsibility to appoint federal executive, diplomatic, regulatory, and judicial officers. The president also has the ability to sign or veto federal legislation. They also act as the de facto leader of their political parties, granting them strong influence over members of their party.

The president is elected indirectly through the Electoral College to a four-year term, along with the vice president.
