Dracula (Chinese: 德古拉 Dégǔlā) is one of, if not the oldest and most powerful vampires alive. Also known by the name Vlad III or the moniker "the Impaler", he is a Romanian prince and a national hero of the country. Even now, he is not truly dead, only dormant, and his "corpse" is safely kept by descendants of his most loyal followers, the Order of the Dragon.
