Avenue of the Union Elevated Monorail System

The Avenue of the Union Elevated Monorail System, also called the Union Monorail or the Crystal Line is a small elevated monorail system built for the 1989 Tianjing International Exhibition that serves Tianjing's inner district. It is centered at the Crystal City Convention Center, where it also connects to the Tianjing Metropolitan Commuter Rail System (which strictly speaking it is part of). After the exhibition, several of the very small spur lines in Peacock Lake Park were demolished or consolidated, leaving a single loop running around the park that connected to the rest of the Avenue of the Union line at Crystal City.
