Wood County is a county located in the state of West Monroe. As of the 2020 census, its population was 15,541. The county seat is Proctor. Wood County is included in the Victoria, metropolitan statistical area.
With a large portion of its economy based on forestry and agriculture, Wood County is sixth among West Monroe counties in lumber production.
