Thérèse III was first married to the nobleman Audric Guérin on 27 December 1986. Thérèse and Audric met during the then-Duchess of Oléron's summer visit to the city of Saverne in 1984 and became engaged a year and a half later during a retreat to Montaron. Together, the couple has three children:
- His Royal Highness Prince Hadrien, Duke of Oléron (born 5 October 1988)
- Her Royal Highness Princess Ariane (born 20 March 1992)
- His Royal Highness Prince Alexandre (born 29 May 1995)
After a tumultuous twelve years of marriage, the couple quietly divorced in 1998. It was during this time that the Duchess met and befriended Arunian lawyer Ouen van der Breuk in 1999. Despite rumors of a relationship and even a secret engagement, these were put to rest when Thérèse became engaged to Julien Blanchard, another Senone nobleman, in 2002. Married for five years, the couple promptly divorced in 2007. In 2008, Thérèse became reacquainted with her old friend and lawyer-turned-journalist Ouen van der Breuk. On 5 August 2011, a year after becoming queen, Thérèse married Ouen in a private ceremony in Cervon.
The official residence of the Queen and the Prince Consort is Château d'Arleux in Athéron, though the couple prefers the seclusion of the Château de Théméricourt on the outskirts of the capital city.
