Air Nordenland (Norden:Luftnorræn Ak , Swedish: Flygnorræn Abp)is the flag carrier and largest airline of Nordenland, with its headquarters in Kalda Thorvalds International Airport. Air Nordenland and its subsidiaries dominate both domestic and international air travel in Nordenland. Its major shareholder is the government of Nordenland, which owns 67.8% of the shares. Air Nordenland is a member of the Star Alliance. In 2017, it transported about 11.9 million passengers to over 90 European, 38 Asian and 10 North American destinations. At the end of 2019, the airline employed 11,564 people. Finnair is the sixth oldest airline in continuous operation. With no fatal or hull-loss accidents since 1988, Air Nordenland is consistently listed as one of the safest airlines in the world.
