Trefei, historically Trefeilo, is the capital and largest city of the Kaoroan state of Verde. With 357 thousand people, it also is the 5th largest city in Kaoro.
Trefei can be temporarily turned into the country's de facto capital if it is too dangerous for the government to keep operating in Kaoro City, gaining such status in 1953 with the Situation Act along with Mikelo.
