* For graduating students, not have a note of "reconsideration" by the school's board which was made due to previous severe violations of school's rules. Should one have it, it must be resolved and annulled by peaceful means three weeks before the first test date. If it's past the schedule, they must wait for a year.

* Be able to take part in every single test day. Should that person fail to give a good reason to their inability to take the test (for example, death of a family member), that person shall be disqualified and must take the test next year.

* Be able to take the test in the designated testing centers. If the person cannot take the test there due to important reasons, they can either take it in another testing center, or in case of a hospital room or somewhere else that limits movement, take the test there under the supervision of a special test supervisor or someone that can be trusted by the Ministry of Education of the Alezian Union (i.e. The head of the hospital where the test taker is being treated, or under minimal circumstances, the nearest family member).

* Be not involved in a Level-3 or higher crime.

Should the Waisnorian have it, the business stays open, no matter if their partners are not WMCA countries.

=Criticism=
While the AUFX has been met with good remarks, criticism remains. Some critics said that the current system might cause a problem due to the still ongoing gap between students in the North and students in the South. Other critics said that the exam might create a burden on students, and such fixes were needed.

The Alezian Union Final Examination, commonly known as the AUFX, is a standardized college entrance exam held annually in the Alezian Union. It is required for entrance into almost all higher education institutions at the undergraduate level. It is taken by students who has received their Palha'u (Secondary Education Certification) who failed to enter through the Invitational System in the year the test was taken, or anyone who received certification equal to Palha'u pre-reunification.

The exam usually last about four hours over the period of four days, however students could take less or more hours depending on the what requirement does the participant's selected university demands.

History

Pre-reunification

Before reunification of Alezia happened, North (which at the time include Mosin-Nagan and Northern Pantabang Islands) and South Alezia (which include Southern Pantabang Islands)'s education systems were separate. Even though the education systems enacted in both countries were similiar, they have almost to no interaction between them.

In North Alezia, students who graduated High School take what was called a North Alezian Final Examination (NAFX) which started in 1962, while in South Alezia, students who graduated Higher Secondary Education take what was called a Nationaal examen (National Examination in Dutch) which started in 1960. Both of the certifications cannot be used to attend university in the other's education system.

Inception

After the reunification of Alezia ensued, one of the main targets of the Ministry of Education of the Alezian Union (MINED) is to ensure that students continues to be educated and progressed to further education. Due to this, MINED (under the supervision of the State Council of the Alezian Union) immediately launched the "Two Paths to University" (TPU) method.

In the TPU method, anyone who graduated under the Alezian Union curriculum (or known as "The First Graduation Alumni") are given the chance to either be recommended by their school to be selected on a non-test method or if they were not selected or if the first path fails, to take a test called AUFX which scores shall be used to pick their university of choice. Students who graduated with certificates from the North Alezian or South Alezian authorities shall be allowed to take AUFX as well.

The AUFX's groundworks are almost entirely based off the North Alezian method with additional supplexes from the South Alezian method. This was in order to ensure quality and to produce a qualitative curriculum throughout the Alezian Union.

Purpose

The purpose of AUFX is to test a candidate's ability to study in college, with the questions based on Alezian high-school curriculum, which provides data required for tertiary education admission.

Design

The exam shall have its' questions designed by 200 of the best teachers from all regions of the Alezian Union (each region sends 50 teachers) in order to adapt the questions to the abilities of all students, ensuring that all students from all regions get the same chance of entering university.

Requirements

In order to be able to take the AUFX, someone must either:

  • Have a same-level certification issued by an education authority from another country recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Alezian Union.

(Automatically, this means that the student must have graduated High School)

Other requirements to take the AUFX are:

  • Not have a university degree. AUFX is only intended to be a test for new students, or those who still has not received their first degree. For those who are going to take a second or more degree, they must take a special test held by the universities that hold it.
  • For graduating students, not have a note of "reconsideration" by the school's board which was made due to previous severe violations of school's rules. Should one have it, it must be resolved and annulled by peaceful means three weeks before the first test date. If it's past the schedule, they must wait for a year.
  • Be able to take part in every single test day. Should that person fail to give a good reason to their inability to take the test (for example, death of a family member), that person shall be disqualified and must take the test next year.
  • Be able to take the test in the designated testing centers.
