Gothica (High Gothic pronunciation: /ɡɒθɪkə/), officially the Greater Gothic Empire (High Gothic: Großgotisches Urweltreich; Anglish: Mickle Gothish Riche; Latin: Magnum Imperium Gothicum) and formally referred to as the Greater Gothic Empire of the Goth Realm (Großgotisches Urweltreich der Goten Reichs; Anglish: Mickle Gothish Riche of the Goth Realm; Latin: Magnum Imperium Gothicum Regnum Gothae), is a world-spanning sovereign state. With 205,105,373 square miles (or 531,220,478 square kilometres) of Earth's inhabitable land mass that spans across a total of five continents and around 18,666,000,000 subjects, 90% of which belong to the music-based Goth subculture, Gothica is the largest country in the world by area and population. The country is organised into sixty-nine regions, which are then divided into governorates and sub-divided into districts; 33 cities that function as separate regions, and the eponymous imperial capital, World Capital Gothica, the largest city in the world with a population of around 1.33 billion; other significant cities include Necropolis and Vespertinople, both religious and cultural centres, Valborg, a commercial centre; Nachthafen and Akashabad, two chief industrial centres; and others, such as Neukronstadt, Draculburg, Lestatbourg and Hexentreffen.
