According to the 2025 Ziroxeut Census, Kaltdae is the 13th most populous state with 6,441,553 inhabitants and the 2nd largest by land area spanning 91,816.56 square miles of land. Kaltdae is divided into 17 counties and contains 151 municipalities consisting of cities, zicronts, and reserves. Specifically, Kaltdae has 99 cities, 50 zicronts, and 2 reserves.
The largest municipality by population in Kaltdae is Kolkent with 1,845,823 residents, and the smallest municipality by population is Zicront Ukol with 22 residents. The largest municipality by land area is Zicront Udezeers which spans 21,309.89 sq mi, while Bynea is the smallest at 0.93 sq mi. The largest city is Fukov, spanning 1,705.06 sq mi.
Municipalities may be incorporated as cities, zicronts, or reserves. Most zicronts contain unincorporated villages, which do not count for census purposes. Cities are not subject to a zicront's jurisdiction, but villages remain part of the zicront in which they are located; village residents pay both zicront and village taxes, and share services with the zicront. Since all Kaltdae residents who do not live in a city or reserve live in a zicront, a village's population is counted in the population of the zicront in which it is located. Reserves are sparsely populated, designated to protect the environment of Ziroxeut. All reserves are considered National Parks.
