The politics of the Republic of Mádoba and Cuellòn function within a framework of a presidential representative democratic republic with a multi-party system, whereby the President of Mádoba-Cuellòn is both head of state and head of government. The National Assembly forms the legislative branch, comprising the National Senate, House of Representatives and the Cuellònian Assembly.
