SPASEK was founded shortly after the formation of the Sekidean Union on 1 June 1993 among popular demand from member states having a common interest in space exploration. SPASEK is focused on operating their space station, SLAOS, and also focused on the Polus Program, which is a space program that hopes to get the first people to Stratos by 2030.
