The Imperial Principate Armed Forces are the Armed Forces of the Imperial Principate of Imperia. The ICVA (Imperitoria Commonwealth Armed Forces) is made up of 9 service branches, the Imperial Terrestrial Force, Imperial Aquarian Force, Imperial Aerial Force, Imperial Astral Force, Imperial Cybersecurity Force, Praetoria, Praesidia Aora, Vestal Legions, and the Imperial National Guards. The Imperatricia of Imperia (Empress) is the Commander in Cheif (Imperitricia) of the ICVA and leads the ICVA and forms military policy with the Imperial Department of Defense, ICVA Council of Praefects, Consuls, Praetors, Imperial President, and Prime Minister.
The Imperial Armed Forces trace their origins to the Ancient Roman Military, with the army retaining a modernized version of the Legionnaire system. The Imperial Armed Forces were in their most recent form after the reforms during the early reign of Her Imperial Majesty, Imperatricia Julia Ivsila-Aestiva Caeseris. The ICVA has fought in multiple wars and interventions and have been formed into highly-capable, highly-trained, feared, and professional fighting force.
The Imperial Armed Forces are one of the largest in the world in terms of personell and manpower feilding a total force of more than 4.24 million active personell and a additional 3 million reservists which can be called into active service by the Imperial President or Her Imperial Majesty, with them having previously being called into active service multiple times before during rising tentions. The ICVA calls upon a large pool of vonluntary personell who go through 8-9 months of rigirous training that will train them to be an elite and skilled fighting force. Imperia does however, have conscription with the Imperial Department of Defence being able to instate quotas of conscription but this has to be apporved the Senate and Imperial President and can also be instated by Her Imperial Majesty or vetoed by Her Imperial Majesty as well.
