Parmilo is the largest city in the Independent Republic of Boldonia. It is the cultural and financial capital of Boldonia.
History
Parmilo was first settled by Spanish settlers in 1879, however it was officially incorporated in 1900 by the United States. In the early year Parmilo started to grow, but was overshadowed by Boldonia City. During the Great Depression Boldonia was hardly hit compared to other parts of the world, and Parmilo would see massive growth.
During The Second World War Parmilo would be captured by the Japanese along with the rest of Boldonia. A resistance would form to fight back the occupation until 1944 when US forces returned and recaptured Parmilo during the Battle of Parmilo.
After the war Parmilo would see massive growth, with the Parmilo metropolitan area becoming more populous than the Boldonian Capital Territory in 1967. This growth would only increase further during the 70s and 80s with this period being referred to as the Golden Age of Parmilo. In 1984 the City of Parmilo Beach would join with Parmilo bringing the population up even more. After Boldonian independence the Independence Rush would bring in an influx of population eventually bringing Parmilo to overtake Boldonia City. In late November 2022 Palm County announced that the City of Parmilo would be consolidating with Palm County to create Parmilo-Palm County.
Geography
Parmilo is located in Southern Florsid and is located on the southern coast. South of Parmilo are the Florsid Barrier Islands, which are populated and includes places such as Parmilo Beach and Kolekea Island.
Economy
The economy of Parmilo is dominated by the tourism industry which accounts for 56% of the county's economy. Several big businesses have branches in Parmilo, such as Royal Caribbean International, Norwegian Cruise Lines Holdings, FedEx, Delta Air Lines, and many others.
Culture
Parmiloian culture is mostly built off of the back of nostalgia with Parmiloian culture focused on trying to relive the Golden Age of Parmilo. 70s and most especially 80s music is very popular among Parmiloians. Entertainment media pertaining to Parmilo also focuses on the 80s with movies in TV shows either being set in the 80s or taking on an 80s vibe.

Law Enforcement
As of December the local police of Palm County is being reorganized into the Palm County Police Department. The Florsid Highway Patrol is headquartered in Palm County and operates on the roadways of Parmilo. Aswell the Independent Republic of Boldonia National Guard has a presence in Parmilo due to the shared law policy in Boldonia. Three groups are assigned to different areas in Palm County, IRBNG-FLD1, IRBNG-FLD2, and IRBNG-FLD3.
Government
Parmilo is the capital of the State of Florsid. The internal city government is run by a city council with the council people being voted by their district.
Transportation
Parmilo is served by several transportation links, and has been referred to as the Freeway Capital of the World. Interstate B1 and two of its spur routes, B101 and B401, run through Parmilo. Aswell Florsid State Route 10 runs around the city forming a beltway. Parmilo is served by Parmilo International Airport, which handles the most foreign passenger traffic in the country. Aswell the it is the location of the Port of Parmilo which is referred to as the Cruise Capital of the Pacific. There are three main causeways between the Florsid Barrier Islands and the mainland, the Nimitz Causeway, Simmons Causeway, and Ferdinand Magellan Causeway.
