The President of the Republic of Guadajara (Spanish: Presidente de la República de Guadajara) is the head of state and head of government of Guadajara. Under the Guadajaran Constitution, the President heads the executive branch of the national government and is the commander-in-chief of the Guadajaran Defense Forces.
The current president is Noé Elías Caméndez, who took office on November 21, 2022.
Compensation and privileges of office
The President receives a monthly (excluding June) salary of 15,270 Guadajaran escuderos, paid by the national treasury, which can not be altered during the period of their appointment. During the same period, they may not hold any other office nor receive any other emolument from the nation or from any province.
The Magallanez Palace is the official workplace and residence of the President, and Granja de Tasajera their country workplace. The President is entitled to use the staff and facilities in the residences and is provided security by the Presidential Guard, responsible for the security of the entire presidential family.
