Empire of Blickia

The Empire of Blickia is a nation located in the western continent of Pantericos in Oradon. It is the second largest nation and is known for its incredibly powerful navy. Blickia isn't the most populated nation in Oradon, however it holds a decent population at around 53.66 million citizens (not exact). Blickia is around 603,563 square smiles in border measurement and has a population density of around 10 people per square mile. Blickia is beginning an age of industrialisation and it is currently not impacting the country negatively in a overly worrying form however it is predicted by most if not all scientists in Blickia that if the nation continues the process, it will become a major problem that may be extremely difficult to diffuse. The Blickian Empire has not had a war since 1677 despite its title of which presumes it Imperial. Blickia is not a war mongering country although when an opportunity reveals itself that is very tempting, Blickia may take it 7 or 8 times out of ten.

Etymology

The name "Blickia" originates from the Caspian word "Blicias" which means "Inker" or "writers". This is likely due to the fact that during the Caspian civil wars, the leader of the rebelling nation gaining independence was a well known Inker (someone who creates ink for writing) who also was famous for being an author of some incredible novels.
