The Greater Antillian nobility refers to all persons possessing the legal status of hereditary nobility according to the laws and traditions of the Antillian monarchy, whose members form the highest echelon of Greater Antillian society possessing specific privileges and prerogatives and along with them special obligations and regulations.
The nobility as do much of the population claim descent from about 100-200+ clans that have long since formed the upper class in Greater Antillia
Ranks
The Antillian nobility is divided into five ranks, from highest to lowest these are: Duke, Marquess, Count, Viscount, and Baron.
Duke/Duchess
Currently there are a total of 21 extant non-royal duchies, of these the Duke of TBA is the premier duke in the country, having existed as a distinct title of nobility since TBA
