Zugaumo letter 1877

The oldest surviving written text in Papotement is a short letter dated from 1877 and discovered in a private book collection in Pointe Henri in 2007. It was sent by a young Gosa woman named Nadia Zugaumo to her friend Elise Allen, inviting her to her birthday celebration.

Au revoir, goodbye sweetheart.
