The league consists of 48 teams from 4 countries—37 in Vœyetska, 6 in Denzal, 4 in Sateroc, and 2 in Estovia. The VHL is one of the most popular leagues in Euronia and one of the top ten leagues in the world in terms of revenue. Teams in the league annually compete for the Lindbeck Köp which was donated by former Vœyetskan prime minister Nils Lindbeck to the Vœyetska Ishöðarforantið.
