The Pongian Labour Party, also known as Labor is a major center-left party in Pongi. The party is the main opposition on the federal level since 2023 after breakup of the 37th government. It governs the states of Bareka'i and Pensular. Labor remains the opposition in the other three states and is the oldest political party in Pongi, being founded on 10 July, 1929. It formed the first Pongian government in 1930 and is a voice for establishment, progressive change in the nation. The party has been in government for the longest consecutive time leading up to 2023, and is the most successful party in Pongi.
