Xinjiao was a rebellious, semi nomadic theocratic government during the Michurian Chaos Period. Xinjiao was notable for venerating the ancient Zheng god Naimo, the embodiment of death. The state was initially nomadic, roaming and pillaging weaker states, before establishing a capital of Lutang. Lutang was subsequently destroyed in 1862, prompting the group to return to its nomadic roots. Following the destruction of Pingshan in 1897. Xinjiao was subsequently defeated by a resurgent Concert of Michu, though was not fully crushed until 1908. Followers of the Xinjiao religion remain within contemporary Michu, though undergo significant repression.
