David Yakobev is the current President of the Republic of Mavoria and has been in office since 2010. President Yakobev has commanded great respect throughout the country for rule and propelled conservative policies. Yakobev is a devout Christian and has been the architect of a coordinated campaign of social conservative laws and giving greater power to the Mavorian Apostolic Church. Yakobev is also greatly known as a war hero, serving many years honorably in the Mavorian Armed Forces and as leading the Mavorian Freedom Fighters to overthrow the Communist regime. Yakobev is also the head of the ruling Mavorian National Front and a founding member of the party.
