The Primate of All Exponent is a title given to the Archbishop of Paradise City. The primacy of a title conferred an on archbishop guarantees a theoretical jurisdiction over several ecclesiastical provinces. As such, the Primate of All Exponent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Church in Hesperidesia.

History

Since the Concordat of Albandaea, the Emperor of Exponent was given the ability to select bishops, which would then be sanctioned by the Legatus Hesperidesiae and the Vatican.

Following the fall of the Empire of Exponent and the subsequent Blackhelm-Loretto Agreement, the appointment of bishops within the Blackhelm Confederacy is done via a nomination by the Vatican after a  process involving the Blackhelm Confederate Senate and the Blackhelm Confederate Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
