Ansium Boulevard is a major thoroughfare in Ansium, linking I-70 and I-61. The entirety of the route carries I-27, a well-traveled highway. Ansium Boulevard is a freeway in the eastern section, two one-way roads in the middle, and an urban boulevard towards the east. The road provides a shortcut to South Maximillian Point, one of seven boroughs in the city, for I-70 North.
The Ansium Boulevard/I-63 interchange is subject to frequent and heavy traffic jams, due to the fact that the exit onto I-63 is often used as a way into Downtown Ansium. Prior to the completion of I-27 (which meant that the highway would split from Ansium Boulevard), Ansium was commonly referred to as I-27; the majority of GPS systems still do.
