Summary

Westphalia is a city of 8 million residents. The city has an area of 409.5 km2 with a population density of 19,531.25 residents/km2.

City Blocks

A City Block is typically measured 100 meters by 100 meters (10,000 m2). A Block typically consists of 12 connected buildings built in a square formation around a central courtyard. The corner buildings are shaped slightly differently giving the floorplan of the four corner buildings only 87.5% of the floorplan of the side-buildings. Ground Floor areas are usually a retail space, restaurant space, or a dedicated lobby.

A Neighborhood is a typical subdivision of a city containing no official roadways, though a roadway is usually surrounding it. Each Neighborhood has 16 City Blocks, including 8 Residential Blocks, 1 School Block, 1 Services Block, 1 Hospital Block, 1 Financial Blocks, and 1 Park Block.

A Ward is a typical subdivision of a city containing roadways around each Neighborhood. Each Ward has 16 Neighborhoods. Each Ward typically has one subway station.

A District is a typical subdivision of a city containing roadways around each Neighborhood and Ward. Each District has 16 Wards. Each District typically has sixteen subway stations. On the District Level, one Ward is typically used exclusively as a park and to house recreational or entertainment buildings or facilities.

Inner City

The Inner City is a part of the Westphalia that uses Medium-Density Blocks. The Inner City has a population of about 3 million residents.

Downtown District

The Downtown District is known for its large open spaces and government offices. There are many museums and galleries in this district. This District also has the old Foxia Royal Palace. There are no normal wards, neighborhoods, or city blocks, as they are replaced by the various buildings.

Financial District

The Financial District is known for its use by the largest companies in the Empire as a center of commerce. The district gets its name for the abnormally high number of banks and corporations which use this district as a headquarters. This district has one one park space, being the Central Park, the large park in the Financial District that takes up the space of four wards in the middle of the Financial District. This District is West of the Downtown District.

Entertainment District

The Entertainment District is known for its use as a center of entertainment. The district gets its name for the abnormally high number of theaters, attractions, movie theaters, and artistic spaces. Unlike other districts, each Ward is its own attraction space. This District is East of the Downtown District.

Middle City is a part of the Westphalia that uses Medium-Density Blocks. Middle City has a population of 2.16 million residents.

New London is a District of Westphalia that has 720,000 residents. New London is known for being a cultural and housing center for much of the city's population of humans. This District is north of Saint Felix.

Center Town

Center Town is a District of Westphalia that has 720,000 residents. Central Town is known for its many restaurants for many different varieties of foods. This District is north of Saint Crown.

Lunaburg

Lunaburg is a District of Westphalia that has 720,000 residents. Lunaburg is known for being a cultural and housing center for much of the city's population of Wolves. This District is north of Saint Vivian.

Lakeside City

Lakeside City is a part of the Westphalia that uses Medium-Density Blocks. Lakeside City has a population of 2.16 million residents.

Corner District

The Corner District is a District of Westphalia that has 720,000 residents. The Corner District is known for the number of seafood restaurants within the district. The district gets its name for being the district at the corner between the Imperial Lake and the river bordering the south side of Westphalia. A unique feature of this district is the fact that its outer south-eastern Ward is replaced with a quarter-circle curve that allows the river to the south to gently curve around the district. This District is East of the Entertainment District.

New Atlantis

New Atlantis is a District of Westphalia that has 720,000 residents. New Atlantis is known for being a cultural and housing center for much of the city's population of aquatic species. This District is north of the Corner District.

Lakeside District

Lakeside is a District of Westphalia that has 720,000 residents. Lakeside is known for recreational boating and seafood. This District is north of New Atlantis.
