Overview
The Confederate States Army, with a robust force of 1,245,524 personnel, serves as a pivotal component in the nation's multi-layered defense strategy. As the fourth line of defense, the Army's primary role is to assert authority and ensure security both domestically and internationally. It operates in close coordination with the Confederate States Military Police and Defense Forces, intervening when necessary to reinforce national security and protect strategic interests.
The Army excels in providing extensive land-based support capabilities. It plays a critical role in safeguarding vital infrastructure, defending strategic assets, and ensuring the stability of the nation's borders. The Army’s readiness is underscored by its rigorous training and frequent readiness exercises, which prepare its personnel for diverse combat scenarios and emergent threats.
In addition to its core functions, the Army contributes to humanitarian operations, offering crucial assistance during crises and natural disasters. This versatility underscores the Army's commitment to both defense and support roles, highlighting its integral position within the broader defense framework.
A key aspect of the Army's operational capability is its integration of rotary assets and selected air assets. These assets enhance the Army’s ability to control land-based operations, providing essential support in maneuvering, reconnaissance, and air mobility. The inclusion of rotary and air assets allows the Army to execute complex operations with greater efficiency, ensuring effective command and control across the operational theater.
General Marcus Steele, the current commanding officer of the Confederate States Army, leads this formidable force, ensuring its readiness to respond swiftly and decisively to any challenge. The Army’s collaborative approach with other branches, particularly the Navy and Air Force, reinforces a comprehensive defense posture, ensuring a seamless and effective integrated defense strategy.
Through its extensive capabilities and strategic importance, the Confederate States Army remains a cornerstone of the nation’s defense, embodying its commitment to both security and humanitarian support.

M2120A3 Heavy Main Battle Tank
The M2120A3 Heavy Main Battle Tank represents the pinnacle of Scion Defence's tank engineering. Introduced after the M2120A1 and M2120A2, the A3 model incorporates advanced technologies and improvements based on extensive combat experience and testing. It is the most formidable ground vehicle produced by Scion Defence, setting new standards in armor, firepower, and electronic systems.
Unit Price: 11 million NSD for complete vehicle, 1.4-5 million NSD to upgrade from previous versions of the M2120
Armament
- The A3's main armament is the devastating TG-9 140mm smooth bore mounted on an unmanned turret. The TG-9 features an autoloader and caseless rounds, providing a high rate of fire. The autoloader system, based on the ICR-8 assault rifle, uses a rotating rack to feed rounds into the chamber. The gunner selects rounds via a touch screen, and the system automatically loads and fires the chosen round.
- The secondary armament includes a co-axial .50 caliber machine gun (200 rounds) and two Scion PDWS (Point Defence Weapon Systems) each with a .50 caliber stacked projectile machine gun (400 rounds) and six IAD-6 (Infantry Air Defence) missiles.
Armor
- The A3 features a robust armor configuration with a titanium hull, DU and tungsten mesh, and CO2 honeycomb cells. The multi-layered armor system is designed to absorb and dissipate impacts, providing superior protection. The tank can be equipped with the latest Gladiator defence system for hard kill, electronic jamming, and visual jamming, as well as ERA and NERA bricks for enhanced protection. The RIOT non-lethal defence system is also available.
Movement
- The A3 is powered by the SGT-4 gas turbine engine, producing 1600hp, compared to the 1500hp of the previous SGT-2 engine. It uses a TSS hydro pneumatic-torsion bar hybrid suspension system. The A3 can achieve speeds of 100km/h on road and 75km/h off road, with an operational range of 700km, extendable to 900km with external fuel tanks.
Electronics
- The A3 is equipped with full C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence) capabilities and operates using the SMBN (Sciox Military Battle Network). This system allows for real-time control of UCAVs or UGVs, direct links to decision-makers, and access to tactical information. The on-board LCC-20 computer system integrates multiple touch screens, streamlining crew operations and enhancing task efficiency.
