Maeralya Kythaela Bryfiel Amador (c. 12,283 BC - Present) is the second monarch the Imperium of Amador and its first Queen, having served in her position since March 20, 982 BCE. A member of the royal family, Maeralya previously served as Crown Princess during the reign of Tal Vashok. Maeralya was born in Ifa Serine during the Eternal age, pre-dating written history. As per familial traditions, she partook in military service followed by politics, often garnering widespread acclaim from her compatriots. She attended Ifa Serine University, the oldest school for higher education in the nation. Maeralya is widely considered the oldest Alfar Elf to have ever lived and the most powerful magic user in the nation.

Maeralya has sat the Eternal Throne for for three millennia. She is a noted politician, establishing various relations with countless countries, most notably with Seclya. Originally a staunch isolationist keen of keeping the nation out of worldly affairs, Maeralya has instead Amador to renown in international relations, especially in the pass century. Her citizens often describe Maeralya as a tender, caring, yet stern leader. Maeralya rules over a varied popuation of Alfar, humans, varying species of nonhumans, and hybrid elf-humans. As Queen, Maearalya is the ultimate authority in the Imperium.

An appointed Keeper of the Eternal Flame, Maeralya is also a leader and high matriarch of the Faith of the Eternal Flame alongside her daughter, Cylia as a Keeper. As a politician, Maeralya is noted for her stubbornness in areas of social reformation, economic policies, and racial equality. Racial equality is among her biggest priorities currently, with many Alfar considering themselves the superior race over humans.

Early Life and Career

Born as Maeralya Saelihn Raloquinal Vashok she is assumed to have born around 12,000 BC as the daughter of Tal Vashok and Nephira Korena in Ifa Serine. Maeralya was originally of the House of Vashok, a high noble house during the Tiami and Hath Teliel Kingdoms. An Alfar of indistinguishable age, Maeralya was born alongside her brothers, Gaius Lorelius Korenaean and Terlier Gosket Korenaean. For much of her first few millennia, Maeralya would attend to learning traditional Alfar customs, traditions, combat forms, and the arts. Maeralya is an anointed Keeper of the Eternal Flame, a special ability found only in Alfar of royal lineages. The Eternal Flame are the flames of the Great Phoenix, Amador's patron god. As a Keeper, the flame she wields provides life, heat, and care to the populace of Amador.

Service in the Eternal Forces

High Alfar society of the ancient times dictated all children of a noble house, regardless of gender, serve in the Eternal Forces at some point in their life. As the most magically gifted and one othe most most powerful wielders, Maeralya would serve with distinction through several millennia, serving as a front-line soldier, support, and ultimately as a general leading armies during the expansions of Amador. Maeralya would notably serve as general during the final battles of the Alfar-Seclyan wars, a series of brutal wars that the Saahein and Lashein tribes of Alfar fought against Hath Teliel to stay indepedent. The resulting wars ultimately caused The Retreat where most Saahein and Lashein tribes departed Amador and ultimately resettled in Seclya

Family and Personal Life

Maeralya married Ailred Fasandoral, a pureblood elf of the Theth Lethel house, in 1200 BC. Maeralya was the longest unwed crown princess in Amadorian history. They met in 1472 BC at a formal masquerade party in the Crystal Palace. Because of Maeralya's circumstance, she was able to marry for love instead of advantage, something most of the royal family was prone to do. After a thirty year courtship, the couple were wed in the Royal Gardens of Amador in front of friends, families, and foreign dignitaries. The couple were, and into modern times, cited as being quite the romanticists, eschewing royal duties at times to enjoy one another's company. The couple would welcome their first child, Aleriel in 1020 BC. She would inherit the title of Crown Princess and as the first born child of the monarch, Aleriel is first-in-line to the throne. The couple would welcome a second child, Gaeleath, in 1,104 A.D as the First Prince.Their third child, the second princess Cylia, would be born in 1186 A.D. Prince Dagon would be welcomed as their fourth child in 2024 AD.

Hobbies

Maearalya is an avid book reader and author, spending much of her free time in the Eternal Library in the Crystal Palace. In more modern times, she has been noted to take a keen interest in airships and land vehicles, particular in motor racing. Maeralya, despite her busy schedule, makes an emphasis on family time, holding at least some forum of family bonding each night when her family is in town.

As Keeper of the Eternal Flame, Maeralya is divinely blessed witht he power the the Eternal Phoenix. As such, she is able to bend the divine flames at well in a form of martial arts known as the Dance of Flames. She has been seen to practice this form on a near daily occurrence. Maeralya enjoys painting, though she has said she is "not that good."
