Bellacoola is the second-largest city of Nual, after the capital Heiltsuk. It has a population of 69,490. Located in a valley of the Asarana Mountains, upstream of the River Vorsynth which begins on the Parabocan border and feeds into Lake N'hala in Mönusÿnthys, Gladysynthia, the city is remote. The city has gradually grown due to the coal mining and forestry industries, as well as an emerging tourism sector.
