Controversies

Two contestants came under heavy fire for their behaviour in the game. These two were Eddie Angelo and Lance Alves, showing racist and sexist behaviour, respectively.

During Angelo's time in the game, he had constantly accused fellow contestant, Devota Marquez, of aggression as well as lied about things she did not do, as even evidenced by producers who spoke up. His intense hatred and words towards Devota may have sent him packing very early in the game but producers decided to pull him out before Episode 6's episode where one previous eliminated contestant returns. Angelo was promptly fired during the season's airing.

Alves came under fire for his sexist behaviour and words towards Cyrilla Seitas and Rudi Serra. Him returning to the game after being eliminated caused more controversy and some see how Serra humiliated him upon his next elimination to be heavily justified and "iconic".
