Buna is a planet located in the Core of the Talin Galaxy. A member planet of the Galactic Union and homeworld of the sentient Bunanel, Buna is a terrestrial planet characterized by its vast mountains and silicon fields, that gives it a soft metallic luster from above. Strong winds tend to pick up much silicon and create billowing clouds of dust that sweep across the surface. Most of the planet's inhabitants reside in mountainside settlements known as Bunetes, usually enclosed to protect lifeforms from the silicon dust storms.
