Buanope is a planet located in the Scinian Sector of the Core of the Talin Galaxy. A terrestrial and temperate world, Buanope is defined by a massive crack in the crust which reaches the circumference of the planet, the result of an intensified shift in the movement of tectonic plates in 122 AHT. The rift in the planet led to massive volcanic eruptions and earthquakes which killed millions of people and ushered the Galactic Union to a major relief effort, one of the largest in the organization's history. 2900 years on, Buanope's society has evolved to adapt with the planetary rift: extraction of core minerals and ores from the rift has attracted major investment to the planet, and its economy has boomed as a result. Buanope is the homeworld of the Buannalls, and is a member system of the Galactic Union.
