Christian-Frederik III, (full name: Christian-Frederik Valdemar Alexander; born 28 January 1928) is the King of Varienland, as well as the supreme authority of the Church of Varienland and Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Varienish Armed Forces. Born into the House of Rosenkrantz, a royal house with origins in Werania, he was the eldest child of Christian VIII of Varienland and Amalie of Everhøj. He became heir presumptive to his father in 1949, when his father inherited the throne from his uncle.
