Sobieski is the capital of the Ionland. With a population of 12,077,301, it is the most populous city in the country
History
Sobieski was first established as Sobsia in 1,720 BCE by Ionite tribals. It was immediately made the capital of the Ionite people where all the different groups of Ionites would travel to to trade. Throughout the years it would be made the capital of the Realm of Ionia the first unified Ionite state.
Geography
Sobieski is located along on the River Kresy which connects the city to the Great Esquarian Ocean.
Climate
Sobieski witnesses the frequent snow fall every now and then. The usual temperature of Columbion during winter is 41 degrees Fahrenheit and in summer 61 degrees.
Economics
Sobieski is the heart of everything in Ionland. The throne of Ionland is centered in Sobieski although during the First and Second Great Wars, the throne was moved to Dmow City.
Transport
Sobieski's transportation system consists of a government ran subway system and bus system. Some people do own cars but 70% of the inhabitants take the bus, train, and taxi to get around the city.

Sobieski is home to many traditional style Orthodox Christian cathedrals.
Culture
Sobieski is the cultural center of Ionland. During the spring and summer months families flock to Sobieski Square to watch street performers and to hang out with one another. Other people go to boardwalk where they watch the river flow by. Others take the chance and go see a play at the nations premier musical theatre, Sumberton. Sports fans have plenty of options to chose from, hockey fans can go see a ILH game with the home teams being the Sobieski Rangers and HKS Sobieski., the second most popular sport in Sobieski is football with the city being home to the ILP's Królewski Sobieski and PKS Sobieski.
