Tallaght (from Irish Támhlacht, meaning "plague-pit"), is a city in northwest Maltropia. It is the capital of the principality of Cluain Áed and is the fifth-most populous city in the country.
Tallaght was the seat of one of Maltropia's archdioceses from the seventh century onward and was thus one of the chief power centres of the nation. Its cathedral is among the tallest in the country, standing 91.7 metres tall.
