The World Assembly is the main international body in NationStates, and the equivalent of the United Nations in real life. it is divided into two councils, the General Assembly and the Security Council. Membership is voluntary and compliance with resolutions is technically imposed for resolutions passed during their membership. Membership is restricted to one nation per computer, but since 25 July 2015, bans for having multiple WA nations last for one year instead of being permanent.
