The Globalization and Terraconserva Cities Research Network (GaTC) is a classification system of cities around the world based on their connectedness and importance to the world economy as well as how developed the cities themselves are. The cities are categorized into the categories of Aurek, Besh, and Cresh.

Aurek cities are major cities that are the most important and link major world markets. It is divided into four further sections, Aurek ++, Aurek +, Aurek, and Aurek -.
