The Republic of Altaia is a self-declared unrecognized proto-state in the province of Altaia. It was proclaimed on December 18, 2019 by the Patriotic Armed Forces of Altaia, a separatist rebel movement participating in the Altaia Insurgency. So far, the state does not hold much territory outside of bush where PAFA operates.
