The Tricameral Parliament is the legislative branch of the central government of The Confederate Empire of West Phoenicia.

The House of Viceroys, The Senate and the House of Representatives.

The members of the House represent electoral divisions or districts across the Empire.

The members of the Senate represent the overall city-states.

The House of Viceroys are selected by the Royal Family, 13 in all. Each representing the Empire. There role is to give any government bill a final review and discussion alongside the reigning monarch. Usually they will approve the bill and the monarch will accept their outcome.

Three members from each province within each city-state are elected. They serve for a period of 4 years in the House of Representatives. There number in total is 1590

106 in total, two Senators are elected from across the Empire's overall city-state/province. Senators serve for a period of 6 years.

13 Viceroys are selected by the royal family to serve in the House of Viceroys for 10 years.

The Prime Minister chairs the House of Representatives and the Deputy Prime Minister chairs the Senate. Both positions are for 4 year terms by their party; they have the ability to be re-elected.

The royal family approves each law that the government wishes to enact and will often go on the advice of the House of Vice-Roys. The royal family has the power to veto any law.

The royal family has the power to veto any Prime Minister, Minister or Judge for the West Phoenician court system nomination they feel is not suitable for the nation.

Citizens are able to vote from the age of 16.

The West Phoenician Government has broad national powers. Among other things, it administers laws in relation to defence, national police force, immigration, foreign affairs, national healthcare, trade, postal services and taxation.

Each city state has its own unicameral parliament consisting of 20 sitting members; they are elected for 3 years and are controlled by a Governor.
