the once prosperous fields surrounding the city began to fail in what would be known as the [[years of strife]], House Schneewolf began to look outwards and began a series of campaigns that resulted in the subjugation of several neighbouring pagan city-states those months are refered as [[The Restoration Crusades]]. Using the spoils of war to their advantage, the five families built a capital city worthy of being the centre of their empire with marble buildings and statues of their gods.
