The M35 uniform was the first new uniform to be brought into service after 1918. This uniform featured tall leather boots, a field gray tunic without the red stripes of the M18 uniform, as well as a modified helmet. The uniform featured 2 chest pockets as well as sheaths on the inside of the soldiers boots to hold bayonets/knives. This uniform incorporated light wool into the pants and shirt in order to keep soldiers warm in the almost year round mild Bretislavian climate. The uniform would continue its service until 1941. Note: This uniform was introduced alongside the Reynard M40 (Model 40) semi-automatic rifle that was to replace the Reynard M1912, an older bolt-action rifle that would remain in the service however as a sniper and infantry rifle until it was completely phased out in 1939.
