The Second Maganskian Civil War was an internal armed conflict in Maganskia fought between the socialist regime of Nikolai Yakovich and the nationalist government of Zdravko Bezrukov from 1992 to 1995. Following the Svoboda Uprising against Premier Yakovich, elements of the military mutinied and seized power in the capital Magansk, swearing allegiance to Bezrukov - the leader of the opposition. The rest of the military quickly fell apart and fractured along political lines. Socialist forces attempted to storm Magansk, triggering wider clashes across the Nyalkovo Basin and ultimately plunging the country into a civil war.
