Elections to the Legislative Council were held in Alscia on 23 May 1936. The Donatella Rossetti government was re-elected, winning one seat less than 1932.
The election marked the best performances for main opposition parties PdL and PCA. For the first time, the NUP did not win a plurality of first preference votes. The PCA's final tally of 2 seats caused amusement, as it reflected a famous cartoon in The Senik Sun that had shown the party preparing a four-year plan to win 2 seats.
In the final count, the PdL held on to its gains from the last election made further inroads in northern Alscia. Two comuni near the legal border also saw independent candidates overtake the FPP.
This was the last Legislative Council election held in Alscia before it voted to join the Free Territories. Ironically, much of the northern comuni the PdL had won voted against joining the Free Territories, and remained in Cacerta as Molise.
