'''Ilgecism''' is one of the world's largest religions, and the primary one practiced within [[Mahaborei]]. It is one of the newest monoistic religions in the world, created in the 14th Century by the [[Ilgec Khan]]. The faith is both mmonotheistic and polytheistic - believing there is a pure form of the divine known as the beloved, who manifests himself into pure essences. Ilgecs believe that all existance is merely of the beloved, and we, his lovers, are combinations of his various forms. Our Conciousness (self-awareness) comes as a result of our love towards the beloved, establishing a divine trinity. Ilgecism's uniqueness as compared to other monoistic faiths is that they believe unification with the beloved impossible, but instead we must seek to understand, love, and emulate the beloved to reach spirtual understanding. The faith doesn't have an established clegry or even a unified theology, having numerous competing schools and deities.

The only texts of the faith are the 50 Absolute Poems, a series of vague yet beautiful poems over reality, love, and the nature of the beloved.
