Amed, officially the Amed-Capital Region or the Federal City of Amed is a region of Kurdistan comprising 19 municipalities, including Amed City, which is the capital of Kurdistan—alongside Kurmanjistan, Soranijan, Palewanistan, Lakistan and the contested Rojava region makes up the six region of Kurdistan.
